As you may've read in the tabloids, Terry was diagnosed with the early stages of bowel cancer (roughly translated: nasty things in the bit that holds the poo) and was admitted to hospital for an operation on his bowel (roughly translated: a snippy thing that takes out the nasty thing that is in the bit that holds the poo). Terry has released this statement to the Nation's press:



"Unfortunately, my illness is not nearly bad enough to sell many newspapers, and the prognosis is even more disappointing."



Terry is now out of hospital and recouperating nicely at home, so the acceptance of get well wishes for inclusion in the Fans' Get Well Card has now closed (because otherwise he'll be fully recovered by the time he receives it!!) but if you have any best wishes you'd like to pass on, keep them coming to terryjoneswebsite@yahoo.co.uk and hopefully they will still be read eventually.
